Mother and baby have a good time. The name of the child, who is seventh in the line of succession of the British throne, has not yet been disclosed, but experts bet on Arthur, Alexander or Philip.

Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, gave birth to a boy on Monday (6). The child, who is the first of the couple, is the seventh in the line of succession of the British throne. The birth announcement was made on Harry and Meghan’s Instagram, but neither the location nor the baby’s name was revealed.

The baby’s name has not yet been chosen, but bets have already been placed on specialist sites – including even unusual options such as “Donald” and “Brexit.” Experts bet on Alexander, Philip or Arthur.

The baby was born with 3,260 kg at 5:26 am (London time). Harry said that the mother and the child are doing well. “It was an incredible experience,” said the Prince, who thanked him for the support he received during his pregnancy. The child must be presented to the public in two days.

“It’s been the most incredible experience I could ever have imagined.” As any woman does what she does she’s beyond comprehension, but we’re both absolutely thrilled, “said Harry.

The baby, who is the eighth great-grandson of Elizabeth II, will not automatically receive a prince’s title unless the queen grants it – which must be done according to Harry and Meghan’s wishes, says The Guardian “. Prince Andrew, son of Queen Elizabeth, chose to give royal titles to the daughters, the princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Princess Anne, his sister, gave them up to their children, Zara and Peter.

The restriction on the title occurs because King George V limited the royal titles in 1917. He may use one of Harry’s minor titles and be known as the Earl of Dumbarton. The rules surrounding British hereditary titles, however, are not the same for men and women: if a girl had been born, she could not become the Countess of Dumbarton.

Meghan, who before joining the royal family was already a well-known American actress, married Harry in May 2018 in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. With this, she became the latest commoner to join British royalty.

The first in the line of succession of the British throne is Prince Charles, son of Elizabeth II and father of Harry. The second is Prince William, brother of Harry, followed by his three children: George, Charlotte and Louis.

Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Harry is the son of Prince Charles and the late Diana of Wales, and grandson of Queen Elizabeth II. The title of Duke and Duchess of Sussex was granted by the Queen hours before the wedding in May. The title was one of the few that were still vacant and its origin dates back to 1801 when then King George III (1738-1820) granted the Duchy of Sussex to his son Augustus.
