Kate Middleton has always had enviable style, with a 2018 study noting that the Duchess of Cambridge is even more influential on shopping habits in the U.S. than Meghan Markle is.

A new report has revealed that Kate is looking to step up her fashionable image even further; according to Richard Eden for The Daily Mail, a royal source alleges that Kate has hired a new fashion advisor to keep her style sharp. Kat’s new stylist is an old friend from college, Virginia Chadwyck-Healey.

According to Eden’s source, Kate’s new stylist is Virginia Chadwyck-Healey. She is an old friend of Prince William and Kate, attended their wedding at Westminster Abbey in 2011 and went college with them, studying at the University of St Andrews in Scotland alongside the royals. Furthermore, Chadwyck-Healey runs in the same circles as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Chadwyck-Healey, Kate’s stylist is probably advising Kate while her previous stylist Natasha Archer comes back from maternity leave.

Chadwyck-Healey has been advising Kate on the Duchess’s wardrobe for public engagements for some time. Let’s be clear, is not that Kate needs advise, at the end she is the one that chooses her wardrobe and has done a phenomenal job always; but as we all know it is always better to have the opinion of other people, and if those people are your friends and experts on the subject, then the advise they can give is even better.

The duchess’s recent looks included a chic Gucci blouse that she wore backwards, and a stylish J.Crew sweater that she paired with combat boots.
