Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth First Public Appearance As a Married Couple

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth stepped out on Saturday night (Jan. 26) — and made their first public appearance together as a married couple, about a month after they got married.

Miley and Liam attended yesterday, the 2019 G’Day USA Gala in Los Angeles, where Liam Hemsworth was honored with the Excellence in Film award. He walked the red carpet alone as Cyrus entered from a separate door, according to The Hunter Valley News.

Hemsworth award at the G’Day USA Excellence in Film was in recognition of outstanding performances in movies including “The Hunger Games” franchise and “Independence Day: Resurgence. And in what was a beautiful gesture towards his wife, Liam, in his speech, called Cyrus his “beautiful wife.” Her reaction, naturally, was so sweet.”Thank you to my beautiful wife,” Hemsworth says in the speech, which causes Milet’s jaw to drop and the audience to rupture in applause. Her shock then turns into a smile as Hemsworth continues singing her praises. “You are a sweet, sweet angel,” he says. “Yeah, I love you! You’re great!”. Cyrus then jokes at Hemsworth to “keep going” with the compliments, causing the audience to crack up. “There’s more! There’s more about me,” she says. “I’ll tell you later,” Hemsworth responds cheekily. Their banter is very on point!

She later shared a smoldering shot of the two of them, and that she was “ready to party with the MR.”

Miley and Liam first public appearance was just as it has to be, a perfect romantic night out.

And we also remember that Miley gave a sweet tribute of her own to Hemsworth on his birthday January 13.

“I love those little lines around your eyes when you laugh or look into the Sun…. I love the way we speak in our own language. Sometimes with just a look,” she wrote in a lengthy Instagram post. “I love laying on the couch eating Chinese when we’re hung over from the night before. I love going to a random party and remembering basically everyone is fake AF out here and how lucky I am to share a life with someone so REAL. I love the way you always listen & the way that you care… (Even when it’s about RuPaul’s Drag Race.) I love having a teeth brushin’ partner & when I’m lazy how you’ll comb my hair.”
