Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got married in a low-key ceremony the weekend before Christmas, on December 23rd, 2018, at her home in Franklin, Tennessee.. They tied the knot in front of a small group of friends and family. Their families, including Cyrus’ sisters Noah and Brandi and Liam’s brothers Chris and Luke were present at the party.
On Wednesday, December 26th, 2018, Cyrus posted two sweet photos from the intimate ceremony on Instagram and Twitter, confirming her and Hemsworth’s nuptials.
A source told ET that “They did some quick pre-planning before the holiday and decided that they didn’t want a big elaborate wedding. They truly wanted to keep it a secret. They just wanted the people most important in their lives present. It was so touching. They decided to do it at their home in Tennessee, as they have talked about in the past.”
Cyrus wore a no-makeup makeup look, with a barely-there lip color, mascara-enhanced eyes, clean yet matte skin, and perfectly groomed brows.
According to ET, a spokesperson for the Williamson County Clerk in Tennessee confirmed, that media outlet, that the pair applied for a marriage license. The license is still going through the approval process at the time of publishing this article.
Cyrus and Hemsworth met nearly a decade ago while filming the Nicholas Sparks movie The Last Song, where their first kiss happened on the first day of shooting. Even though, they broke off their 2012 engagement, they’ve now had the first of what will hopefully be many kisses as a happily married couple as you can se below.

It’s not working out with the other guy. You’ve got to go in and read with Miley again’…I come in and everyone starts clapping like, ‘We should have gone with you first!'”
