According to the Guiness, which records in several categories annually, the couple’s account was the fastest to win 1 million followers in the social network.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hit a new world record, according to Guinness. Their Instagram account, created on Tuesday (2), was the quickest to win 1 million followers – in just five hours and 45 minutes. The announcement was made on Wednesday by the record book itself.

The page of the two, which has three posts since it was created, already registers 3.5 million followers on this Thursday (4). In the most recent publication, the prince appears in several meetings related to the Armed Forces. He served in the British Army for ten years.

“After serving in the British Army for ten years, the Duke of Sussex has pledged to promote the well-being of members of the Armed Forces and veterans,” the post says.

“The duke knows the permanent effects that military service can have – as soldiers recover from the post-traumatic syndrome after the battle or struggle to return to the normalcy of civilian life.Through their work with military men and women, the duke also saw how families benefit from extra support when their loved ones are absent and adapt to life at home, “says another passage.

Besides prince, Harry is also Duke of Sussex. His wife, Meghan Markle, adopted the title of Duchess of Sussex after the wedding. The couple are expecting a baby for “the spring of the United Kingdom,” as announced by Kensington Palace last year.
